The AKFST line of AK-47 front sight tools are the first AK front sight tool to be made to the levels of strength and durability the AK end user or manufacturer expects. No extra tools are required. The AKFST have a limited life-time warranty - if the tool breaks under normal use, send the tool back to Magna-Matic for a replacement (see www.magna-matic-defense.com for full warranty details, terms, and conditions.) The UNBREAKABLE AKFST is 400% stronger than the current generic “C-clamp” type tools. Now with the AKFST you’ll never have to re-buy a front sight tool due to breakage on a frozen AK sight. The AKFST also makes range adjustments even easier, don't let a frozen AK front sight force you to run back to your shop to make adjustments. 
 
 
IMPORTANT
The 4.5 inch long torque arm provides a greater accuracy in sight adjustment, because with a longer lever it requires less pressure to make a smaller motion.  Which allows you to be more sensitive in your adjustment.
 
WINDAGE! The ultra-strong full-circle clamp provides 100% positive contact to the sight post. The heavy-duty full-circle clamp and over-sized push rod provides the strength to move the most stubborn frozen sight. Perfect alignment of the drum is easy by viewing the drum through the sight adjustment port of the AKFST.
 
ELEVATION! The precision machined tip of this adjustable T-handle wrench seats onto the sight post to give you a 100% positive hold on even the most frozen of sight posts. The long lever, which is able to be positioned for greater leverage makes adjustment simple and easy. Note: the T-handle rod can slide to any position to provide more leverage, all images are shown with max leverage.

Broke three AK sight tools and this was after it soaked for 24hrs in Kroil.  The AKFST-GS gave me the biggest grin when it turned with minimum force.  Windage tool wasn't compatible with Romanian Draco.

This tool will turn any frozen front sight.

I just received my AK site tool.  All I can say is fantastic and I am e-mailing friends tonight and telling co-workers at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (Rotary Wing Overhaul Facility with over 1 billion annual budget) about this product. I always thought a C-type design was inferior to an O-type and wondered why nobody offered one. If you try to adjust a site that has been staked a finer thread might be better but then I haven't tried this one yet and it would probably increase your production costs somewhat. I opened up a "store bought" tool on a site that was staked and we then built one from 4340 that did the trick because it was better material and thicker, but still a C-type. You have a great product and I will be telling as many people as I can and "Made in the USA" means something to me. I wish every machine tool in this country was busy making products like yours.

This tool is built like an AK (it’s can take abuse), and last a lifetime. It’s very heavy duty, and I don’t see anyone breaking one. The manufacturing quality is beautiful, with no rough machining marks, and best of all it works as directed, and functions better than all the other brands.  And all this quality at a very affordable price.

Being relatively new to the AK side of the house (primarily AR's in the past), I had heard the various horror stories about adjusting sights on these weapons.  A friend purchased his PSL-54C about a week before I did, and he spent the better part of an afternoon punching holes and adjusting the sights on his gun.  When we took mine out to the desert, adjustments were quick and the sensitivity of the tool was quite good.  Had my PSL sights adjusted in about 30 minutes, and most of that time was spent walking back and forth to the targets.  

Another friend with an older Egyptian Maadi has not been able to adjust his sights for years, and this tool took care of the problem.  Great tool, highly recommended!

I received this tool last week, and was very impressed with the durability of this tool. I used it on my own SGL21, and my brothers WASR, which had resisted attempts to have its front sight moved by a different tool.

I was able to move my SGL21 post with no problems, but the WASR proved very resistant. I felt very comfortable putting a LOT of pressure down pushing on the AKFST tool, it was very sturdily constructed, but i still had a problems with the WASR.

After an email with Magna-Matic, they suggested some penetrating oil to loosen up the front sight. That did the trick! (I used some brake cleaner)

I was very impressed both with the quality of the tool and with the custumer service (They even reshipped the tool to me, at their expense, when I left my apartment # out of the initial order. That goes above and beyond what is expected)

I would recommend this tool (and this company) to anyone wanting to zero their AK sights.
